Born and raised in the creative hub of southern California, Colin Sydejko found himself captivated by the power of film at a young age. What began as a childhood hobby grew into a studied passion. Eventually progressing into a means of creatively documenting his travel experiences, it was here that he developed a keen eye for paying attention to the world’s artistic and ever-changing surroundings.
The true journey began when a friend asked to film her wedding. He became hooked by the power of affecting someone’s life in creating a film about their special experience: an emotion he personally understood far too well from the years of documenting his life’s creative projects and backpacking escapades.

It’s his self taught approach to the art of film that has led to a strong desire to tell the stories of human experiences and love. Colin’s method focuses on unobtrusiveness to harness the role of the observer and allow the raw emotion of the moment control of the film’s sentiment. His emphasis is on capturing the uniqueness of the couple’s story.
